Terms of Use & Privacy

Ownership

Saurusverse™, including its code, design, dino characters, games, routines, artwork, music arrangements and original songs, is © 2026 Saurusverse. All rights reserved. “Saurusverse”, “Bugaloosaurus”, “Stretchosaurus”, the dino characters and the Saurusverse logo are trademarks of Saurusverse.

You may play the game and share your scores, videos, challenge links and the dances and melodies you make. You may not copy, re-host, modify, sell or republish the game or any part of its code or content, or present a copy as Saurusverse or as your own work.

The classical melodies used (by Mozart, Grieg and Beethoven) are in the public domain; the arrangements and recordings made by the game are ours.

Playing safely

Dancing and holding yoga poses are physical activities. Make sure you have enough space, a clear and non-slippery floor, and only do moves and holds that feel comfortable. Stop if anything hurts, and check with a doctor first if you have a health condition. You play at your own risk.

Your camera

Body tracking runs entirely on your device. Your camera picture is never uploaded or stored by us.

Your photo card and dance video are made on your device and only leave it if you choose to share them. They don't include your camera picture unless you turn on “Show me in the photos and videos I share” on the home screen; otherwise they show your dance character and glowing dancer. In live rooms, your camera is only shown to the other dancers in that room if you turn on “Show my camera to friends”; it goes directly between devices (encrypted), and may pass through a relay service when a direct connection isn't possible. It is never recorded.

What we collect

To improve the game we count anonymous events, such as a game started or finished, a score, a share button used, and which website and link a visit came from. We don't store anything on your device for this: events from one visit are grouped by a random code that disappears when you close the page, and nothing links one visit to the next. Outside Europe, a visit also says whether this device has played before and the length of your Daily Dance streak (both are kept on your device for the game itself), so we can see if players come back, without knowing who they are. We don't collect your name, contact details or camera data. You can turn this off with “Don't count me” on the home screen.

The nickname you type or pick is stored only on your device, and is included in links and videos you choose to share and in live rooms you join. Please use a nickname, not your real name.

Services we use: Netlify (hosting), Supabase (live rooms and anonymous stats), Metered (video relay when needed), and Google's MediaPipe and the jsDelivr network (body-tracking files, loaded by your browser).

Children and families

The game is for everyone, and families often play together. The first time you visit, we ask what year you were born. We keep only an age group on your device, never the birth year itself.

Players under 13, and under 18 in India, play in kid-safe mode:

Body tracking still runs only on the device, and links and videos are only saved or shared if the player chooses to. Parents: please help younger children with sharing, and check out the safety tips above.

Things you share

Dance-off links (“family & friends dance-off”) carry their leaderboard inside the link itself: the names and scores of everyone who has played it. We don't store dance-offs anywhere; your device remembers the ones you've opened so their scores can be combined.

Challenge links contain your name, score, and any dance or melody you made. Anyone with the link can see them. Please don't put personal or offensive content in names or dance titles.

No warranty

The game is provided “as is”. It may change, and features may stop working without notice. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss or injury from using it.

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
